The FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation), insures certificates of deposit up to at least $250,000 per deposit. The interest rate fluctuates according to market conditions, the amount invested, and the desired term. A penalty is charged if the client cancels the CD before it matures.

Investment Strategy: Invest in short-term fixed income U.S. securities, including but not limited to CDs, commercial papers, promissory notes, government and corporate securities with investment grade credit ratings. The objective is to maximize returns, while preserving principal and keeping liquidity high. The securities are not necessarily guaranteed by the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation).
